Trade As One

Leadership: Nathan George is a business development specialist, amateur theologian and a bad but improving surfer. He believes that all of life's big questions are answered with theology. He loves "The Matrix," the ocean, his dog Ollie (despite his faults), his business, and his beautiful family.

Purchasing & Customer Service: Catherine George worked for over a decade in the healthcare industry, which she left high and dry to become an agent for a fair trade supplier in the U.K. These days she juggles product purchasing, customer service, and raising three surf-obsessed boys in Santa Cruz.

Operations & Logistics: or many years Kathy's seemingly boundless energy and gift for organization were used in teaching, ministry settings and raising 3 kids. Now she's using them in the warehouse to make sure fair trade products get to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Technology: Leo is Trade as One's resident tech genius. Despite his vast expertise, he sometimes deigns to help us set up our wireless network and check our email. He's passionate about preserving the earth, and providing people convenient and simple access to Fair Trade.

Operations & E-commerce: Mike Yantis brings a strong e-commerce and organizational background to Trade as One. He spends his days streamlining operational processes, introducing new products and improving the user experience. He is passionate about using e-commerce to expose the U.S. market to beautiful fair trade products from around the world.

Program Management: Rachel Karpanty-Yantis brings her passion and entrepreneurial background to the team. She heads up the Trading Post, Fair Trader and Hungry for Change programs at Trade as One and executes the details for our church events. She's passionate about getting people and churches engaged to use their regular spending to make the world more fair.
