Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope is an NGO in Kenya that seeks to bring holistic healing to women suffering from HIV/AIDS. Beacon of Hope provides job training, childcare, food relief, medical help, and legal assistance to bring and healing to the women of the Kware slum.

Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope provides a vast number of support programs, which include:
1. Vocational training in Income Generating situations
2. Business training
3. Short term food relief
4. HIV/AIDS awareness, counseling and testing
5. Psychosocial support and therapy for those living with HIV/AIDS
6. Orphaned child care and support (education, shelter, health)
7. Medical care
8. Work with youth

Beacon of Hope not only provides women suffering from HIV/AIDS with basic services and pays them fair wages, but also keeps a percentage of all proceeds in a savings account for each woman to assist them in gaining financial stability.
